Photoref'd off a street in Venice. I THINK? At some point I may have started making crap up :/

This was just practice with india ink and nib pen. Kinda what I image the citystate of Bara Kapa Di to look like. Riddled with canals, populated by pretty architecture and protected by a gigantic golem called The Monsterous Vtcht that'll throw a hissy fit (which will result in about 40% of the city in shambles, mind you) if a law is passed that it doesn't like. Bara Kapa Di was the city Compewter Terrance was born in.

Anywho, Bara Kapa Di is composed of 3 main islands and countless tiny islands with an active volcano called Di. Each island is a sector of the citystate, and generally the richest/governmental areas are found towards the center of the islands with the middle class and ghettos towards the outside (Due to hurricanes, etc).

Bara Kapa Di is more technologically advanced than the rest of the world (which really isn't all that much; basically it's not much more advanced than real life, but the rest of the world is still using gas lamps, horses, etc) It happens to be one of the richer citystates because of their tech. but it's also pretty poor in natural resources. Which is why the rulers of the citystate would LOVE to have intimate relations with the city of Lor Hamah (Agent Orange's city) because Lor Hamah is a port city; raw material and processed goods will pass though it to be distributed around the rest of the world. Of course, it's not the ONLY port, just the most convenient. Bara Kapa Di doesn't trade all that much with Lor Hamah because The Monstrous Vtcht doesn't like Lor Hamah and rampaged around, knocking down sky scrappers and apartments until the rulers of Bara Kapa Di stopped trading so much from Lor Hamah.
